Did President Obama Mislead Pope Benedict?
Not if you understand politician-talk
That was the headline question posed in an item in LifeSiteNews preceding the following paragraph. In the late afternoon of July 10, President Obama met privately with Pope Benedict XVI for just over 30 minutes. According to official Vatican spokesman Rev. Federico Lombardi, S.J., "The president explicitly expressed his commitment to reducing the numbers of abortions and to listen to the church's concern on moral issues." On July 13 in a Senate committee hearing, Sen. Barbara Mikulski was forced to admit under persistent questioning by Sen. Orrin Hatch that the new health-care bill includes abortion coverage. Planned Parenthood's Guttmacher Institute estimates government funding of abortion increases abortion by 20 to 35 percent.
I don’t know what the Zero told His Holiness, but I heard Barry’s press interview right after the meeting with the Pope, and what he told the media was something to the effect that he told the Pope he “would work to reduce the number of women seeking abortions.”
No, class, he never said he would reduce the number of abortions, although you might think that means he wants to lower the number of abortions. Listen again. He said he “would work to reduce the number of women seeking abortions.”
Get it?
He wants the abortuaries running at full speed, which means, statistically, half the babies killed whuile he’s in power will be female. Thus, they will never grow up to be women. Ergo, the number of women (in the future) seeking abortions will be reduced because there will be less of them.
BTW, where's NOW on this one? How about equal rights for women including unborn women?

Off subject here but I notice when you see older pictures of The One he is much darker than he looks now. Makeup or something else?
I thought his wife made him give up smoking???
1: He is still smoking
2: Is he going for the Michael Jackson look?
IMHO Obama doesn't think he lied to the Pope, but he did. He knows what the Pope ment & he intentionally gave a misleading answer.
Don't forget Judy Brown's observation:
"African-American genocide now has a face" (Obama).
