Who Is This Mysterious "The Vatican"?The same as the famous "them"
This article from CatholicCulture.org states that "the Vatican" is warning the SSPX not to ordain 21 new priests. A number, I might add, that puts the vast majority of Orders and diocese to shame.
But anyhow, I know that the rebellious Austrian and a few other Roman Protestant bishops in Germany have melted-down into apoplectic hissy-fits over the Society, but does anyone know of anyone in a position of authority in the Vatican who has issued some sort of warning to the SSPX?

It was regarding the political maps of voters for the Nazis, Catholic v Protestants. The guy was unable to supply a source, but I can tell you: The maps were published by the excellent Erik von Kuehnelt-Leddihn (yes, that was his name) in his book "Liberty & Equality" (first published in 1952). I have a copy of the book, published by Christendom Press in 1993. His other excellent book is "Leftism". This guy was a good old fashioned Catholic, a hero of American Conservatives, though he preferred monarchy for government, as opposed to democracy, as he felt the latter inevitable morphed into totalitarianism.

Well, what do you know... The maps were published in 1943 (not 1952) by the same author in his previous book: "The Menace of the Herd", which sounds like a Caveman post title. And you can find this book/maps scanned online (PDF format) at this link:

You know, "The Vatican" could be one of those graphic novel heroes (or villains, if you prefer) that achieve iconic status.
