The Best Kept Secret in the Cape Fear Deanery...
Don't check the Parish bulletins, none of them have advertised it, but it was announced after Mass this past weekend, that St. Mark's in Wilmington will be having Mass in the Extraordinary Form this Sunday evening, June 14th at 6 PM. This comes on the heels of the latest priests assignments in the diocese being announced, showing that this area will remain in a spiritual desert for another year. Yep, the Eucharist will still be rolling on the floor at my parish and the Shrine downtown will remain under the care of Father Bobby, so let's enjoy this one evening of reverent worship while we can. Spread the word...

Thanks for posting this!!!!!!!!
Still rubbing my eyes in disbelief and feeling giddy about going to Mass! Thanks for passing along the info.
Cavey, thank you so much for letting us know about this. I'll spread it around to everyone I know! This will be quite a contrast to last night, where I kid you not, the Our Father was sung to the tune of Simon and Garfunkel's "Sounds of Silence." You can't make this stuff up!!
