Forty-two Bishops Protest BHO at ND
Some discover their gonads for the first time in years
So far over 325,000 petitioners and 42 U.S. bishops have publicly condemned the decision of Notre Shame University to host and honor "the most pro-abortion president in history," with some strongly calling for university president Fr. John Jenkins to disinvite the president or to step down from his position. (To sign the petition: http://www.notredamescandal.com). But, noooo, Jenkins remains steadfast in his obstinance.
Jenkins said, "He (Obama) will speak to our graduates in such a powerful way. He's one of our great orators of our time, and we're just so proud to have him." Big deal. Churchill said Adolf Hitler was the greatest orator of their era.
Here’s a list of the American bishops who have actually gone public in defending the Faith. Gee, I don’t see one ordinary from California among them! Shocking.

FAB,
That's roughly 10% of the USCCB.
Couth that be the "Remnant Church" we've been hearing so much about?
I read somewhere that 75% of US Bishops had voted for Obama. I guess we can get an inkling of who they are by reading this list and noting who's not on there.
Slight correction: not CHARLES Morlino from Madison, ROBERT Morlino. And he's the bomb. ;)
As someone who calls Georgia home, it disturbs me that I never hear the archbishop of Atlanta criticize blObama.
Robert,
And not a single bishop from the Carolinas.
Wow! I never expected the no. of bishops (46) to have been so high. I would have predicted 5 . . . 10 maximum. BTW, My bishop, the Apb. of Santa Fe (Michael Sheehan), is not on this list, unfortunately. I will have to pray for him.
I do not quite understand why neither of the NC Bishops have spoken out publically. However I am not that bright and maybe they have very good reasons.
If I received letters from 46 Bishops
telling me I was doing something
wrong, I better have some outstanding
reasons to persist. So far, all I've heard
from Notre Shame is the equivalent
of "we do what we want, shut up".
It looks to me like the leadership of
ND has little but contempt for the
Catholic Church unless playing to
that identity in order to fundraise.
Don't expect to hear any talk against Obama/Clinton/Biden from Fresno, Ca. Bishop John Steinbock. The "party" in Fresno pulls more weight than the Holy Faith.
