You're Not Going To Believe This One
All you idiot "Catholic-Democrats" should be proud of yourselves

Here's some of the article from the Catholic News Agency;Hillary Clinton leaves flowers for Our Lady of Guadalupe, asks ‘Who painted it?’
Mexico City, Mexico, Mar 27, 2009 / 04:59 pm (CNA).- During her recent visit to Mexico, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made an unexpected stop at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe and left a bouquet of white flowers “on behalf of the American people,” after asking who painted the famous image.
The image of Our Lady of Guadalupe was miraculously imprinted by Mary on the tilma, or cloak, of St. Juan Diego in 1531. The image has numerous unexplainable phenomena, such as the appearance on Mary’s eyes of those present in the room when the tilma was opened and the image’s lack of decay.
Mrs. Clinton was received on Thursday at 8:15 a.m. by the rector of the Basilica, Msgr. Diego Monroy. After observing it for a while, Mrs. Clinton asked “who painted it?” to which Msgr. Monroy responded “God!”
Leaving the basilica half an hour later, Mrs. Clinton told some of the Mexicans gathered outside to greet her, “you have a marvelous virgin!”
This evening Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is set to receive the highest award given by Planned Parenthood Federation of America -- the Margaret Sanger Award, named for the organization's founder, a noted eugenicist. The award will be presented at a gala event in Houston, Texas.

You would think that if Mrs. Clinton knew she would make that visit she would do her homework on the history of...
Especially since there is a great chance that any comments made by her will make the news.
I think quoting Bugs Bunny is right on in this situation.
Given the fact that I already have a post ready to put up about it tonite for my blog. Yes I can.
My favorite line was her comment of how she approved of how it was painted by the artist.
As for the comments above. It sounds like you 2 got a preview of some of the other comments I wrote.
Please tell me again why we aren't in a war already over this woman's inability to think beyond the end of her nose.
I doubt she bothered to veil herself in the Presence, either.
But of course, she would never set foot in a mosque, because that might offend someone who wears a rag on his head.
I can't call her the name that comes to mind because I already confessed it. Poo.
I think you missed the story here. She forgot her reset button. You know, the one we call the sacrament of reconcilliation.
Probably still working out the Spanish "on the way to hell"
+JMJ+
I guess I should stop being surprised, but . . .
Was the "Who painted it?" just total ignorance or her rude way of saying that she doesn't believe in the miracle? =S
From Our Lady of Guadalupe to Margaret Sanger . . .
Perhaps we can let her see the screen of an ultrasound monitor so that she can ask who did the CGI. ("It looks so real!")
What's the big deal? It's only the Catholic Church that she insulted, we know the libs in charge of America don't think much of THAT group!
So we go from dissing the Patroness to the Unborn to being honored in the name of the patroness of death. Part of me thinks this isn't the faux pax they'd like to make it seem.
that might offend someone who wears a rag on his head.
Don't forget the fanbelt.
You can't make this stuff up. It would've meant something really different coming from Bill. He knows alot of virgins, and chubby interns.
I don't care who you are that's funny.
I wonder how many people were in Mary's presence back in Nazareth and were clueless.
I'm no fan of Mrs. Clinton. Or is it Rodham-Clinton? Anyway, I think somehow, blind as she is, she somehow found the painting of Our Lady appealing. This just might be a spark of conversion for her. Maybe our loving mother is carefully calling her home. There've been worse sorts who've made a come around.
BTW, fact checkin' before the visit by people in her staff wouldn't nessassarily produce the right informaiton. Ton's of information on the web insist it's a fraud, (hold your horses, I know it isn't). Also, many many catholics don't "get" the image. I had a friend from highschool who's family was from that area of Mexico City. She went 'home' to visit and was unimpressed with the basilica, the 'painting' and the devout. So, I have hopes for Mrs. Clinton.
And, we should pray for her along with all of our elected and appointed officials.
