ComBox posting takes on a life of it's own

My buddy, MIG, recently posted this in the ComBox concerning our own local septic tank of a "Catholic school";mig said...
We just kept our son home the day of the expo, due to religious beliefs. Most of the parents at St. Mary are Obama-mamas. They vote the liberal lifestyle, they live the liberal lifestyle, the profess conviction in the merits of the liberal lifestyle and yet they put their children in a Catholic school instead of the public school system that is the ultimate creation of liberal consciousness. They hide behind the people of faith, traditional values and the ten commandments yet profess publicly a very different belief. hmmm. Reminds me very much of a conversation I had a few years back with someone along the same ilk that Mig just described. I was in conversation with this individual (from an Northern influential family with all the Kennedyesque credentials), who gave me every standard answer as to why his kids went to a "progressive Catholic school".
After pressing home the point to this individual that Catholic schools don't give (or at least aren't suppose to give) an approving wink and a nod to active homosexuality, women priests, the Sacrament of Confession is a nicety but not really necessary, questioning the Real Presence, abortion is a valid option, etc, etc, ad nauseum, I finally wheedled this guy's true motivation;"At least my kids don't have to go to school with spics and niggers." Why do I get the feeling he's not the only parent who's kids go to "progressive Catholic schools" that feels this way?

At my husband's Alma Mater (a NON-progressive old-fashioned Catholic High School) situated in Harlem, NYC reads a sign: "The Street Stops Here". Some are even called "Uncle Toms"~ Saint Michael help us in this war!!!

The guy sounds like so many true liberals. Many are actually racists. Oh, they'll talk the talk, even be seen at black affairs but how many of them have invited a balck family to the church, their park, their home? Very few, I'd bet. Of course, this attitude is not limited to liberal "Catholics." The others send their kids to the all-white charter schools or expensive private schools.

How right you are. Racism, bigotry, prejudice... all that runs the gamut from Black to White, rich to poor.
But I was getting at the hypocracy of the LLs.
If a hard-core _____ (insert race here) comes out and admits "I hate alll ______ (Insert race here) people", at least they're being honesty.
These LLs and CINOs are a dispicable, phoney lot.
I'd rather deal with a frank racist. At least I know what I'm facing. The smug, liberal ones who say the "right" things but are racist to the bone in private are the ones who can really trip you up.
I'm gonna say it again. We ought to engineer a trade between the Church of Rome and the Anglicans. You can swap your heretics for our "heretics" (i.e. the few remaining orthodox).
The Catholic loonies could get their lace-and-incense fix, and not have to worry about all those silly doctrines; the Anglicans could stop spending the entire Mass wondering "What are they trying to put over on me this week?" Win-win.
