Yes Sir, Commander in Chief, Sir
I haven't seen this on ANY of the other news outlets... and even the official transcript leaves it out... but check out the chilly response a reporter got last night when he DARED to ask Obama a blunt question (without all the pandering and groveling).
Comments and emphases mine, Fr Z style.
From Yahoo Buzz: Obama's Press Conference Stirs the Buzz
Ooh, doesn't like it when people call him on his mistakes, huh? After an uncharacteristic gaffe on 'The Tonight Show' and an unfortunate case of the giggles on '60 Minutes,' President Obama had a lot riding on his Tuesday night press conference. The president largely stayed on message, using the hour to focus on the economy, the budget, and his anger (even if was delayed) at those darn AIG bonuses.
The buzziest moment came about 35 minutes into the press conference when Ed Henry of CNN asked the President why he didn't spew outrage as soon as he learned about the AIG bonuses. Why, Mr. Henry asked, did the president wait several days before speaking out? The president, with an icy stare, responded that he "likes to know what he's talking about" before he speaks. It was a pretty testy exchange that brought about nervous laughter from the other reporters and snarky responses from Twitterers. The transcript, by the way, has been changed since I first saw this article this morning. The laughter isn't mentioned anymore, but it was NOT described as "nervous." This sounds like a had-to-be-there moment, but I completely believe it. Boom! Next question.
...You can read the full transcript of the press conference here.

So is dip-shit insinuating that the Atty Gen of NY (a Democrat, or course) doesn't know what he's talking about?
Either it takes the President longer to figure things out than the whole country or he will say anything when pushed against a wall.
