Liberal Media??
Nahhhh...

Amazing that the mainstream media never really reported this. Here's some of the article from The Villages Daily Sun;

Republican Vice Presidential Candidate draws 60,000 fans to market square for ‘road to victory rally’

THE VILLAGES — Sarah Palin greeted The Villages on a sunny Sunday afternoon, rallying Central Florida’s Republican base and continuing to capitalize on the momentum born out of the decision to make her the GOP’s vice presidential candidate.

Donning her trademark glasses, the 44-year-old Palin addressed roughly 60,000 people, according to public safety officials. It was an energized crowd
at Lake Sumter Landing Market Square for the proclaimed “Road to Victory Rally.”
And speaking of things under-reported, how about this example --

From the The Chicago Sun-Times; Uncharacteristically low turnout for Barack Obama rally in Green Bay, Wisc.
McCain/Palin drew 4,000 more supporters at same venue a week ago
September 22, 2008

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Hoping to shore up support in his suddenly undependable backyard, Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama flew here Monday to talk about how he’d handle economic crises as president.

“You all know that you hold this election in your hands,” Sen. Russ Feingold, a Democrat who said he worked on ethics legislation with Obama, told a crowd of about 6,000 cheering Obama fans in the arena next to Lambeau Field.

Just a week ago, John McCain and his vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin — who can bring out crowds the way Obama can — appeared in this same stadium, Resch Center, to a crowd of 10,000 fans. There were an uncharacteristic amount of empty orange seats for Obama’s rally.

The MSM is in denial. That is why they do their best to ignore the facts about the crowds that Palin draws in.

I'm sure that this bias is no more surprizing to you than it is to me.

I hadn't heard anything about the size of the candidate's crowds until this blog. Do you mean that people are no longer fainting when seeing Obama?

No, I didn't know about either of these things, but I did see on World News Tonight w/Charlie Gibson (gag) that Virginia, a typical red state, is energized for Obama and they've never had so many "grass root" supporters. Whatever!
