As we all know by now, McCain has suspended his campaign to focus on this finacial FUBAR taking place on Wall Street. And again... as we all know, the Friday night debate just might not take place.
Here's The Caveman Plan - the McCain people shouldn't give a definitive answer at all if he'll bow out. Keep Obama guessing until the last second.
And when that last second ticks by, have Sarah Palin show up and make the following announcement:Senator McCain is devoting his time and energy to solve this country's current financial crisis. So under the circumstances, I'll face Senator Obama in tonight's debate. That statement alone, coupled with the look on Obama's face, will earn the Republican ticket at least an extra 15 points in the polls.

The look on Obama's face would be priceless.
The only problem is that the efforts that McCain wants to put into solving the crisis will only further erode free enterprise. These numdskulls in congress CAUSED the problem. Now they think they should be called on to fix it? Let these companies drown and go down. Other will come up sure we will have a rough time of it but dang it, we need to in order to clean house.
