George Sunffalupagus recently cornered Nancy Peolsi on why she refuses to allow an up or down vote in the US House concerning drilling for oil right here in the good ol' US of A.
Now Nancy may be a soft-core Communist with heavy Hitler-like leanings towards eugenics... but she's not stupid. She knows exactly what she's doing. She fully realizes that most Americans are in favor of drilling. She also realizes most Democrats in The House would vote against it (if a ever really did see the light of day). In other words, a straight up or down vote prior to the upcoming election would be political suicide for the Democrat controlled House of Representatives.
So what verbal gyrations does Nancy kick out to eruditely state why she's against drilling? Get ready for this;"But we have a planet to save". And the Theater of the Absurd didn't end there.
Has anyone seen the Obama Energy Plan? Here it is; --
"We could save all the oil that they're talking about getting off drilling, if everybody was just inflating their tires."

Then there's this gem, too, from the interview. She says: "my flagship issue as Speaker of the House and 110th Congress has been to reduce our dependence on foreign oil..."
But no to increased domestic drilling. She may not be stupid, but she sure is deceitful.
He has got as much air in his head as the tires he mentioned.
I've said it before, I'll say it again: "If we could lock up all these politicians in a room & tap the hot air they produce, we would solve the energy crisis."
