Gee... Did The Catholic Church Even Have Any Other Councils?
You'd never know it from read the Knights of Columbus magazine

I just received my latest issue of Columbia magazine today. It's the official publication for the K of C. Anyhow, in the second half of the magazine, there was this little article (and tepid at that) concerning the apostolic letter Summorum Pontificum. Minus the handful of pictures, there was just slightly over 2 pages of text.

But here's the kicker... The Second Vatican Council was mentioned seven times. A couple of references would have been reasonable, but SEVEN TIMES! Why such an emphasis on V2? Hmmm... I wonder why? (Insert sarcasm here)

Sheesh... you'd think there wasn't even a Catholic Church prior to 1962.

Sadly, the Knights of Columbus, as an organization, has gone far afield from their original mission/mandate. Fr. Mcgivney (r.i.p.) would be shocked at the poor moral character and slack Catholic identity apparent in most Knights of Columbus.

I'm glad there are other Knights who don't keep mum about the problems in the Church.

Can I ask, do I dare ask, but why during V2 did other faiths play a role in the Council?

The Knights of Columbus is at best a neo-con organization. Their magazine is a rag and every time I receive my copy in the mail it takes me about 10 seconds to skim through and realize it is the same drab New Church garbage that is in every issue and I quickly insert it into the nearest waste basket.

And yes, I figured out a while back that in the minds of the Knights of Columbus, the Church only had one counsel and it was VII.

And one reason protestants may have had some influence after VII is the reason cited by Alice Von Hildebrand in the last issue of Latin Mass Magazine. She states quite clearly and knowingly that Pope Paul VI's intent with the New Mass was to cater to Protestants. What I find ironic about that is that half the trads I know were formerly protestant!! Ha! You have to wonder what the serpent who had his ear must of looked like.
