The Latest On The Traditional Anglican Communion Swimming The Tiber
Now THIS is my kinda ecumenism!
I've posted in the past concerning the TAC converting en masse to Catholicism. Talks continue... and here's an interesting video clip from Salt and Light Catholic Television (Canadian) concerning the status so far.

Having been raised an Anglican with the beauty of the 1928 Book of Common Prayer, and an all male priesthood, my heart will always be with those who are struggling to cross the Tiber.
Upon entering the Church many years ago, I was horrified by the Novus Ordo. And I still am. In fact, most Traditional Anglicans who cross over, soon find themselves involved in the Traditionalist movement, attending only the Traditional Latin Mass (Extraordinary form of the Roman Rite) or the Anglican-Use of the Roman Rite.
I used to have an Anglian use parish down the road from me. The entire parish, with their real estate, and their pastor, had come over from the ECUSA to the Diocese of Fort Worth. The pastor had been ordained a Catholic priest, and they had the best parish bulletin I've ever seen.
These were people who really knew why they were Catholics.
Yes, the Anglican Use parish here in Houston is top-notch. Two months before the motu proprio, ALL of the priests at Our Lady of Walsingham went to the FSSP seminary in Nebraska to be trained in the Latin Mass.
That parish has the best non-Latin Mass in town by far.
In Christ,
Tito
As a revert from "High Episcopalianism", I long for an Anglican Use Catholic parish near me!
So, did you hear that THAT parish will be having some very special celebrations on the 14th? Our seminarians unfortunately can't come down (the bishop won't allow them to skip the classes they'd need to in order to make it in time), but I'll be there bringing my love and a contingent of traddie students from my haunts.
I was surprised and pleased to watch this; due to the sensitiveness of the discussions between the TAC and Rome, the TAC had put a news blackout on the topic. Admittedly it's a Catholic production, but it's good to see a glimpse of the effort and good will underway.
Alli,
Withstanding any weird set of events, Mrs Caveman and I will be there!
