Remember awhile back when I did a posting on Cpl. Cooper Brannan? He was the young wounded Marine who just signed a Minor League contract with the San Diego Padres (he lost part of his left hand).
Below is an interview he gave on the Jim Rome radio show. The ending is AWESOME! Believe me, you'll be glad you listened to it. Rudy and Hoosiers will have a run for their money if the Cooper Brannan story is ever made into a movie.

Got stuck for another 28 minutes listening to that interview again,lol!
What a great kid! He is the face of America and all that is right with this country.I hope the Padres have the foresight to have him center stage when they have their Military Appreciation Night. I know it's a lot to ask given the current ownership and management of the team, but as we just heard, miracles DO happen.
