"Yes, Yes, God is Great and Mohammed is His Greatest Prophet"

Two FOX News journalists, US correspondent Steve Centanni and his cameraman, New Zealander Olaf Wiig, were working on a story when they were seized from their vehicle on August 14. The kidnapping occurred somewhere near the Palestinian security services headquarters in Gaza City (maybe that should have been their first clue). They were released two weeks later after making a videotape admitting their at-gun-point conversion to Islam and adopting Muslim names (sorta like a baptismal name or a confirmation name, except these were their apostasy names).

News reports don’t say what in religion or denomination the new Muslims originated but as neither name sounds particularly Jewish, unless they were atheists or agnostics, the natural conclusion is that they were Christians.

Okay, we know our merciful God will forgive any sin, and this pair can argue duress as a point in mitigation, so I’m sure they can “convert” back to Christianity. But let me throw out this question to our faithful cave visitors:

If a gun was held to your head and knowing that martyrdom wins you a “Get Out of Purgatory” card and a direct trip to heaven, how many of you would have said, “F**k Mohammed, Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and the Catholic Church is the One True Church.”?
