You've Heard Of The 'Fruits Of Vatican II'
Now it's time for the 'Appliances of V2'!
Introducing the new Wuerl-Pool washing machine! We at Wuerl-Pool have developed a new washer that ensures that the dirt stays in! In keeping with the 'Spirit of Vatican II', the dirt, the slime, and the grime is now inclusive to what was once clean and pure!
OK, all joking aside. I came across an article from almost exactly one year ago. Concerning the reception of Holy Communion by so-called "Catholic" politicians who advance abortion. A certain Bishop Donald W. Wuerl of Pittsburgh, stated "There must be some way in which the bishops can establish a process, mechanism or procedure" for appropriate national consistency".
Is standing a foot and a half away from the Papal Nuncio, and not stopping him, while he gives Holy Communion to the Butcher of Boston considered a precedent for national consistency? Gee, I wonder what kind of signal was sent to the rest of the country from our nations capitol?
Just a thought.
