Thanks for catching the typo (which you see has been corrected) and I'll assume the sarcasm was in jest. As for Wordsworth, I was trying to paraphrase the idea, not quote him.

Anonymous said...: Thanks for doing the correction from Angles to Angels. I'm sorry my post seemed to be sarcastic and I am sorry I could not convey the jest in written words. I'm afraid a lot of Australian humour is like that -- somewhat wry, dry or sardonic but not intended to be bitter. Many Australians think Americans have no sense of humour at all!
I still think Wordsworth was better at conveying the idea. And you did put the phrase in quotation marks.
