Remembering Our Bloodlines
Enough of the feminine Novus Ordo.
G. Thomas Fitzgerald over at Recta Ratio gives a much needed reminder of what Traditional Catholics would refer to as "The Good Old Days", and our Post-Vatican II brethren (or is it, sisters and brothers?) would call "The Unenlightened Pre-V2 Days".
Excellent gallery of paintings. Drop by for a visit. As G.T. says "If we are the Church Militant, we might as well be, well, militant". Makes sense to me.

Beautiful image!
My favorite one at Recta Ratio was of the Lionheart spreading a little Christian charity to one of the Mohammadan invaders of the Holy Land.
One of the few post-Conquest English kings for whom I have any respect.
And we wonder why there aren't more Christians in the Middle East? Can we announce the Gospel of Jesus whilst behaving like Muhammad? Good luck with that.
Gee, you might want to check out the news article in my blog about a new militant Catholic group.
Ahhh...the good old days: Saracens BAD, Christians GOOD.
Trivia: the croissant was allegedly invented in celebration of Sobieski's rescue of Vienna from the "crescent" of Mahomet. (Flynn's book Why Catholics Eat Fish on Friday.)
