Even The satanists Got It Right
Gotta give credit where credit's due
The Catholics united under one Pope. The 36,000 (and growing by the day) fractured Protestant denominations. How does one come to a conclusion as to which "faction" is correct? One of the sure fire investigative procedures at coming to that conclusion is this; look to the enemy.
A few rhetorical questions;
1. In order to fully insult and mock God, do satanists try to steal consecrated Catholic Eucharist, or Protestant bread and grape juice?
2. In order to further insult and mock God, do satanists refer to their leaders as "preachers", "reverends"... or "priests"?
3. When was the last time you heard of satanists having a "Black Wednesday Night Worship Service"?
Think about it.

On the money!
FWIW, the Church of Satan bestows the title "Reverend" on people deemed so worthy...
I wonder if they sing "Gather us in"?

...the name itself of Catholic, which, not without reason, amid so many heresies, the Church has thus retained; so that, though all heretics wish to be called Catholics, yet when a stranger asks where the Catholic Church meets, no heretic will venture to point to his own chapel or house.... For my part, I should not believe the gospel except as moved by the authority of the Catholic Church." ~ St Augustine.

your schtick is full of generalities that don't really add up to reality.
My "schtick"? LOL!!! Obviously, I've struck a nerve. Does the blatantly obvious always make you react like a 9 year old? In case you didn't notice, Sparky, I just posted three specifics. Kinda missed that, didn't ya?
I know that you and your little gang of heretics up there in Pittsburgh ooze in here every so often and throw your temper tantrums whenever the TRUTH smacks you in the face.
And the truth of the matter is, satan himself knows who his enemy is. Even to satan... you prots are a joke.

I had a catholic person tell me the SSPX is schismatic.
So... what's your point? Other than what ONE person said, you took as the Gospel truth.
You're making yourself look silly. When you can come up with better "facts", come back. In the meantime, stay in the shallow end of the pool.
Better yet, seeing my blog upsets you so much... leave. And don't let the door hit you on the way out.
Where do I start dissecting this boy?
I'll make this real simple for you, if you don't like my blog... leave. Yes, it really is that simple. You can grasp that concept, can't you?
PS: You are one angry person ... Try the froots of the spirit for breakfast
"froots"? Hopefully, your theology is better than your spelling. Well, you're a heretical prot. That answers that.
And I'm not "angry". I just don't suffer fools well.
As I've told you in the past, I will not allow you to hijack my blog. I gave you a little rope, and you haven't failed me. You've made yourself look the fool. How predictable. Any further posts from you will simply be deleted.
The primary reason -- you failed to answer any of the painfully simply questions I posed on the initial posting. You ducked, dodged and tap danced around them.
In other words... you failed. Now toddle off, child.
You had your chance. I told you before that I would not tolerate anyone attempting to hijack this blog. Your initial comment (where you quoted St Irenaeus) would have been fine.
But no... instead, you made a point of following up with jackass comments. I'll tolerate your braying no further.
This is the second time you have attempted to hijack this blog. From now on, you are permanently deleted. No matter what you have posted... no matter the circumstances.
Consider your dust shaken from my sandals. You had your chance, and you screwed it up.
Crap, I missed the posting... gotta check more often. In any case, there seems to be some question on the status of the SSPX. This will all be in the wind as soon as Benedict XVI wipes the slate clean. If there is room in the Church for some of the crap I have to put up with in my formation to the priesthood and what is going on with the laity hijacking all aspects of Church leadership at the local level (read Sr. Mary No-Veil and her congregation the Servants of the Layrinth) then there is ample room for those fed by classic and traditional Catholicism.

Br Andrew,
YOU are the kind guys we need to get us out of the theological morass we are currently stuck in.
Visit more often!!
Gentlemen,
Great blog as always! As we know, everything that Holy Mother Church does MUST be looked at through the lens of Tradition. ALWAYS!
As to the SSPX: The good Archbishop will be raised to the altar some day.
Finally, hold true to the Catholic Traditionalist creed:
"We are what you once were. We believe what you once believed. We worship as you once worshipped. If you were right then, we are right now. If we are wrong now, you were wrong then."
Semper Fi.
