Bible Verses And My Birthday
OK, OK... I'm jumping on the bandwagon! (And I'm kinda freaked out by what I found)

It seems that just about every blogger has been doing this the past few days, so I figured I'd break out my D.R. Bible and see what's what. Interesting "connection"? Ya think the Good Lord is trying to tell me something? Could be!

Mt 8:27 - But the men wondered, saying: What manner of man is this, for the winds and the sea obey him?

Mk 8:27 - And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi. And in the way, he asked his disciples, saying to them: Whom do men say that I am?

Lk 8:27 - And when he was come forth to the land, there met him a certain man who had a devil now a very long time, and he wore no clothes, neither did he abide in a house, but in the sepulchres.

Jn 8:27 - And they understood not, that he called God his Father.

Now I know that all this is pure coincidence. No silly "Bible Code" or any of that nonsense. But God does speak to us in mysterious ways. The Holy Ghost can touch us in any fashion He sees fit.

But anyhow, three out of four passages concern how people just don't get Jesus. But one out of the four is about a man who does, and he is possessed by a huge multitude of demons... literally thousands of demons were in him. But all this wretched soul had to do was recognize exactly who Jesus was (which he did IMMEDIATELY!) and ask for mercy. Hmmm... I'm going to have to stew over this one for awhile.
