Ever since GOP presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich publicly stated that stopping Iran's capacity to develop nuclear weapons include "taking out their scientists, including breaking up their systems, all of it covertly, all of it deniable", many Americans are seeing events in the Middle East in a different light.

Aaron Klein of WND.com is reporting that there have been 'unusual' movements of Israeli Jericho offensive medium-long range missiles around Jerusalem and in the West Bank.

Britain: Arab-Christian woman fired after 'hate campaign' by Muslims

Nohad Halawi, a Lebanese Christian who emigrated to Great Britain in 1977, is accusing her Muslim former fellow employees of unfairly conspiring to have her fired on account of her Christianity.

The former saleswoman worked at London's Heathrow Airport duty-free shop for 13 years before getting the sack last July.

Pakistani government: "Jesus Christ" is vulgar, obscene, and harmful

The Vatican news agency Agenzia Fides is reporting that the Pakistani government is banning the phrase "Jesus Christ" from being texted.

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has issued an order to all national cell phone service providers that there now exists a listing of 1,600 strictly verboten words and phrases deemed vulgar, obscene, and harmful.

To clarify the rationale for the directive, the PTA stated that the freedom of Pakistanis is "subject to the limitations provided by the law, in the interest of the glory of Islam."

Obama vows to allow America becoming a second-rate military power

With the failure of the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction, popularly known the Congressional "Super Committee," to agree on $1.5 trillion in spending cuts over the next ten years, automatic triggers for spending cuts are now in effect.

Embedded in the $1.2 trillion in automatic cuts is a scheduled $500 billion to be slashed from the US Armed Forces.

The Department of Defense is already slated to have $465 billion cut within the next ten years, totaling almost $1 trillion cut from the military.

The only Catholic institute of higher learning in all of the Carolinas is seeking its day in court against the President of the United States.

Belmont Abbey College located in picturesque Belmont, NC is being represented by the Thomas Becket Fund for Religious Liberty in a fight to challenge the mandate from what is popularly known as the ObamaCare governmental takeover of the nation's health care industry.

Balls forbidden in Canadian school
Keep it spongy...

CTV of Canada is reporting that the students at Earl Beatty Jr. and Sr. Public School in Toronto are banned from having hard balls at their disposal for purposes of amusement or recreation while at school.

With the exception of spongy Nerf-style balls, everything from volleyballs to baseballs to tennis balls are now classified as strictly verboten.

Packages to troops "shameful" --- U of Alabama prez sends Care Package to Marine

Michael Avery, a professor at Massachusetts's Suffolk University Law School has stated that sending troops overseas what are commonly called Care Packages, "shameful", according to a report by Fox News.

Suffolk University has appealed campus-wide for various health and comfort items to be sent to troops deployed in Afghanistan.

Avery responded to the appeal by sending a five paragraph e-mail to his colleagues stating in part;
"'I think it is shameful that it is perceived as legitimate to solicit in an academic institution for support for men and women who have gone overseas to kill other human beings,' the Constitutional Law professor stated.

What must have felt like old home day at the White House, as the former 'Community Organizer' hosted a day-long meeting of black political, business and community leaders and various and sundry fellow organizers.

Obama told the assembled crowd that the 15.1% unemployment rate for blacks is "way too high."

He also pointed out that many of the problems that have plagued Black America, such as public housing and public education, have worsened since he occupied 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

The Times of India is reporting that the prominent orthodox Muslim school, Darul Uloom Deoband, has issued a fatwa against birthday parties.

Darul Uloom Deoband is one of the foremost centers of Islamic learning and thought in the world.

It influences Islamic schools in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, The United States, The United Kingdom, South Africa and hundreds of other Muslim centers it's affiliated with throughout the world.

Amid rising calls for the NRA (National Restaurant Association) to lift the confidentiality agreement signed over a decade ago by Herman Cain's accusers, some interesting facts have very recently come to light.

~ The Washington Post is reporting that the the NRA has agreed to waive the confidentiality agreement signed by the involved parties involved in the accusations against Cain.

~ But the NRA also states that Cain was never one of the signatories, thus proving his claim that he was never involved with the legalistic intricacies.

~ One of the accusers lawyer, Joel P. Bennett, has stated that his client "would not be revealing further details regarding her story," causing more than a few Cain supporters to ask "why not?"
