Just read the latest on LifeSite News. Sr. Mary Ann Walsh, the USCCB's media director,admitted she hadn't read the latest report before defending Carr.
IMHO they should have gotten rid of her years ago & replaced her with a real Catholic religious.
This is growing into a huge scandal that could have been avoided if the Bishops would have acted as they should,shepherds, not as CEOs like they have.
& as I have said befiore, I think we have only seen the tip of the iceberg. The CCHD & the USCCB are heading for a disaster of "Titanic" proportions.
"The floor of Hell is littered with the skulls of bad bishops."
And we know what Jesus said about those who lead little ones into sin.

The USCCB--Too many big executives and politicians in clerical, religious, and lay clothes. Too few priests in the real sense of the term.
Leave the secular matters to me and other lay persons. Get the priests (including bishops) back behind the communion rail, in the confessional, and at the bed sides of the dying. This is why they were ordained in the first place, to help themselves and the rest of us get to heaven. And fire all their staffers. Nobody really needs them, now do we?
To just drive home the point we need priests and bishops to be...well...priests and bishops. We need all progressives except one removed from the business of the church. We need one to be around so we don't forget how bad they screw stuff up!!
