And he wants them teaching British children.

Does anyone still wonder why there was a 16th Century Protestant Reformation? It wasn't really about nationalism.
The "reformation" was rebellion. What you are witnessing here with this bishop and others like him is also rebellion. Luther would surely be proud of them all.
I am not defending Martin Luther, but actually he would be very upset with this bishop. My point was that lousy bishops led to the Reformation, and a failure to reform the Church as mandated by a previous, recent (at the time) General Council--one of the Lateran Councils I think. The term, "reformation," is a historical term. That's why I used it in the first place.

'Zactly. Anyone reads luther 95 feces, can see that Nationalism isn't even mentioned. It was heretical BS from beginning to end.
Luther may not have started out like this bad bishop but he eventually did worse than what he claimed to have fought against. He was a most sinful and perverted person who did FAR more harm than anything the Holy Ghost permitted amongst the members of His holy Church. Like Luther this bishop too wants to contradict God's Law and subvert His authority.
Neither one of them should be held up publicly as someone who ever even held a good thought without at least opening or closing the sentence with a few cautionary words, lest more scandal be added. It would be like holding obama up as someone worthy of respect if he had once supported an innercity orphanage, meantime he is foul beast and murderer of millions of children. You will soon have that thrown in your face by everybody who wants to justify their love of the beast.
I don't mean to fight. I'm just very frustrated with the heretics who keep dividing The Church unchecked. I wish their train of dissent had a caboose.

No PretVat2 it isn't a word but if the shoes fits wear it. I've seen it spelled "faggotry" as in providing fuel for the fires Hell, literal figurative or both.
I've said it before and will say so again, discussing sodomy without being lewd is like picking up a turd by it's clean end. It can't be done.
