HINSDALE, Illinois, October 23, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A Dominican nun has been seen frequenting an abortion facility in Illinois recently - but not, as one might expect, to pray for an end to abortion or to counsel women seeking abortions, but to volunteer as a clinic escort.
Local pro-life activists say that they recognized the escort at the ACU Health Center as Sr. Donna Quinn, a nun outspokenly in favor of legalized abortion, after seeing her photo in a Chicago Tribune article.
Sr. Donna Quinn, OP, is renowned in the Chicago area as an advocate for legalized abortion and other liberal issues.
In 1974 she co-founded the organization Chicago Catholic Women, which lobbied the USCCB on a feminist platform before it dissolved in 2000. She is now a coordinator of the radically liberal National Coalition of American Nuns (NCAN), which stands in opposition against the Catholic Church's position on abortion, homosexuality, contraception, and the male priesthood.

Rather than help women who - in all likelihood - are being verbally abused and pushed to have an abortion by the baby's father, their families, their friends....she's going to "protect" them from the people who don't want her to commit a mortal sin.

I don't know which post made me more disgusted & nauseous, this 1 about an alledged nun (the Vatican visitation can't come soon enough) or the Kennedy post.
Where in the theological place of eternal damnation is Cardinal George????? She should have been excommunicated years ago.

Have to add something more about Sr.(?) Donna. When I read the rest of the article I found out she was a part of the Sinsinawa Dominicans across the river from me. At that point things made perfect sense. While a few of the very elderly nuns are faithful, that convent is a hot bed of dissidence. That she helps women to procure abortions & that her prioress approves makes perfect sense to me.
They are big into New Age over there. Here is how they view the Mass: "Christian liturgy is a very human way of worshiping God."
Another example of where they are coming from is what i saw in their smaller upstairs chapel back several years ago. Over in a corner was what was was supposed to be the tabernacle. what it was was a clay jar with a lid hanging from a macrame plant hanger. You heard me right. (Won't go into damage they did to main chapel.) & that is only a part of what I could say.
If my BP & temper abate enough I am going to write a letter to the local paper (CCed to the Prioress) about this whole scandalous situation. Right now I am just seeing way too much red to do so.
PS: The sound you hear coming from Benton, WI is their founder, Veneralble Fr. Samuel Mazzuchelli OP turning over in his grave. I won't go into how they have misrepresented his missionary activities.

Let me understand this: Someone like me has spent years having modern Catholics accuse me of being "outside" of the Church becuse I am a Traditionalist Roman Catholic and support the SSPX. In other words, I believe what every single Roman Catholic believed up until 1965....but this bitch can get away with this without one single word from the local bishop or from Rome??

Those two ladies (OK, I am making a big assumption! LOL ) are not the future of the Catholic Church or of the congregations of sisters who are faithful daughters of the Church.
What happened to those nuns that taught me the Angelus? That worked with the aged and Dementia patients at the Senior Day Care Center?
It's heartbreaking to see someone older, but instead of wiser, grow more foolish and evil.
When I think of my aunt the faithful nun in her 76th year, and the Spirit of VII crap she's put up with, and then think of all the innocents this thing has led to their deaths, I'd like to double-tap this miserable ****.
Maybe we could ask the Bishops about imposing an Interdict on the Sister and her Congregation's members. The late Bishop of Dallas nearly imposed one on a whole parish near Lubbock after it was revealed some of the people new about the tar and feathering of a Catholic Priest.

To Steve (somewhere in the above comments)-- with respect, please be careful with the "double tap" references. There are those who will construe it as a legitimate threat and act accordingly. Not trying to be the "thought police" here, but I've seen a whole lotta fire rained down for a lot less.
