If you were going to a posthumous Medal of Honor ceremony, how would you think you should act? What would you wear? Certainly you wouldn't walk in all upbeat and positive, and you wouldn't be popping the cork off a bottle of champagne. Likewise, you wouldn't walk in wearing a Hawaiian print shirt or a brightly colored cocktail dress, right?
Well, someone forgot to tell Michelle Obama that a posthumous Medal of Honor ceremony might be, I don't know, kind of a somber occasion. And she showed up dressed like this:

Maybe she wanted to dance on his grave. They hate the U.S., so would it not be expected that they celebrate the death of American warriors?

So far, nothing that oversized ho has done has been appropriate. Don't they have people to handle this sort of thing, if she is a dufus?
I think a law needs to be passed banning the use of these two and the word class in the same article.

How ugly can you get with that dress? When or how often did you ever see a "first" lady going sleeveless as she does? No stockings...and they both look ticked off.

I actually think she looks nice. I love the aqua pumps with the orange roses.
But, I'm from Florida. Aqua and Orange are part of our landscape.
Ultimatly a chic woman dresses for the occasion, her staff must not have gotten the correct infomation for the day's schedual. It would have taken 2 minutes to dress into something actually appropriate.
I think the personal attacks and name calling are truly unnecessary. I am NO fan of Mrs. Obama, but a Ho? I hardly think so. Come on cavemen and women... we are better then that!
It IS a shame she does not have better advisers to help her represent herself in a good light.

I actually have pause when I thought up that title. But after a moment of reflection, the thought struck me, "well, if that's what she wants to dress like..."
If MO would have just shown a just a small amount of class, this posting would have never seen the light of day. But if she wants to gussy herself up like a $100 hooker, that's her call.
And I'll call her out on it.

Oops, I forgot to add --- yes, it reallly IS a shame that she doesn't have better advisors, but the final choice was her's. MO knew exactly what she was doing.

Ok, so what exactly is it about her outfit that qualifies her for HO status?
1. Sleeveless? Jackie Kennedy wore sleeveless.
2. Knee Length? The mom of the soldier wore a knee length suit, in red no less.
3.Pointy blue shoes with a moderate heel?
4. Lack of stockings? Becoming quite mainstream these days.

Jared's death in June of 2006 was under another president. This ceremony in his honor was held in a room with red upholstery and carpeting, the patriot's mother wore all red, as well as several men's ties are red. It is entirely fitting that the body language of both President Obama and First Lady Obama suggests total respect, and no insult is intended in wearing a bloody red splotched pattern on ivory and sedate gun-metal (some might even concede a confederate) grey. First Lady Michelle is not wearing outrageous jewelry or phony insincere displays of power, but a simple respectful late summery frock. From the internet photo, the shoes are slate blue, a dark shade of blue quite unlike aqua. And, the colors are moss green, grey, white, and scarlet bloody red (i.e. blood spattered on God's green earth for no good reason). Perhaps, Michelle even consulted Janet Marti for something befitting Jared's sacrifice.
Insulting our First Lady, not only is hurtful and divisive, but collaborative in evilness. As sibling to an ex-marine, and army nurse, as well as mother in Air Force, and father a sergeant in the Army, it is difficult to understand the sense of hatred evinced in every blog, even to our own beloved Catholic brethren. Jesus did not come to earth to set up a caste system, based on CelebratingMass sung in some specific 'high' language. (What portion of Catholics universally'speak' a dead Latin language?)
Please, be a good steward and think through the gut reactions.

Cin, I have/had 5 great uncles, a father and uncle who were all either in WWII or Vietnam. Many awards amongst them. One dead on Iwo(bronze star). One a beachmaster on Normandy another a prisoner under the Nazis and my Uncle who survived Tet. You should hear them talk. You EARN an opinion after that. It's called the First Amendment!

Cin, dead languages are a hallmark of the Catholic Religion and Jewish Faith.
They cannot change, they cannot be tampered with, their meanings distorted. What is wrong with utilizing a "dead language" to pass on the generational wisdom of our Lord?
