The Zero Admits It
But we knew it all along

As I watch The South-Side Stooge stutter and stammer his way through his speech at this G-20 goat rodeo, he said something that caught my attention.

And it obviously caught the attention of The Hartford Courant;
"Going forward, we cannot tolerate the same old boom-and-bust economy of the past."Now what the hell other economic system goes up and down with regularity? It's called Capitalism. But you heard DingleBarry himself say it... we can't tolerate that stuff any more.

Hmmm... I wonder what kind of economic system he favors? That's not exactly a hard question to answer.

Ectually, the boom and bust cycle is not endemic to free markets. Rather, they are caused by inflation of fiat currency money supplies. Economic fluctuations become much more gentle when money is based upon a commodity of real value, inherently immune to government meddling, such as silver and gold.

We'll just get an economy that goes bust and stays there. I guess you can't say that's NOT economic stability!

I don't know anything about economics except that I can't spend money I haven't got. But then, I'm not a Marxist who spends other people's money. I think "Da Man" is capable of anything.
