No, Not That Don Johnson
But I'll bet Barney Frank wishes it was
Interesting little article from The Bulletin (Philadelphia). Here's some of it;
Obama Nominates Outspoken Abortion Supporter To Legal Post
President Barack Obama has nominated Dawn Johnson, a law professor with a record of vehement support for abortion, to become assistant attorney general for the Office of Legal Counsel.
Ms. Johnson teaches at the Maurer School of Law at Indiana University and once served as former President Bill Clinton’s acting attorney general. She has made a number of diehard comments on the abortion issue such as, “There is no ‘father’ and no ‘child’ – just a fetus.” And for all those idiot "Catholics For Obama", I'd just like to point out the obvious --

Perhaps "O" ought to appoint Don Johnson, the actor, to be the nation's Drug Czar! ROFLMAO
Um, honey, not to put too much emphasis on it, but how did that get to be a fetus without a father? Just askin', since I'm pretty sure you had a father, and I had a father, and, well, everyone had a father, so, just how did that come about?
Jesus had a Father, too, and He's not too pleased with you just now, Ms. Dawn. Just a friendly reminder, while you are out killing babies, you know. A word to the wise, about that Last Judgment thing, you know?
/okay, so that was snotty, but hey, Enough Already.
Catholics for Obama is about as catholic as Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Obama is about as pro baby killing as Hitler was to killing Jews.
54% of catholics voting for a baby killer says more about the state of our church today than anything else I know. Bishops who have helped bring this tradgedy about will have some powerful questions to answer for their leading of Gods children.
When the first dissent appeared in a major way after Vatican II, the Pope should have noted it, called the dissenters to Rome. Here he should have asked for complete retraction and change, or demanded their resignation as Cardinal, Bishop, priest, or nun in any way remaining a teacher in the church. If refused, there should have been a formal excommunication started. They should also have pulled in all those in charge of seminaries and made sure that they were the right people to help form priests. It is hindsight, now, but I think the Pope knew things were off track going back to Paul VI.

This may mean that 46% of those who say they are Catholic, really are, and the remainder who say they are, arn't! So the number of Catholics in the U.S. is much less than is reported in the annually compiled figures by guess whom? The redoubtable USCCB!
. . . but I think the Pope knew things were off track going back to Paul VI.
I have read that Pope Paul VI, seeing the state of the Church in the post-V2 time, remarked sadly that the smoke of Satan had entered the Church. (the true 3rd secret of Fatima?????--just speculating)
