"Springtime Of Vatican II" Alert
Ahhh... love that fresh breeze!
Interesting headline;Miami archdiocese closes 10% of parishes After 40+ years of watered-down liturgy, insipid music and piss-poor catechisis, is any of this shocking?
Gotta love that fresh breeze.

I call it reaping the harvest.
Our former pastor is one who likes to say how awful the Latin Mass was because no one knew what was going on or just said rosaries during Mass and now they get soooooooooo much more. Yea, right!
After I quit RE last year the program went to hell. And now they are having meeting after meeting to figure out how to have a "meaningful" youth ministry. Lifeteen is on top of the list. What a bunch of Roman Protestant bozo's.
I finally made the fateful statement at the dining room table last week. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT CHURCH AGAIN! Sorry for shouting...
And now (to continue my rant), our new pastor where we attend the 6pm NO Mass (but well done), has had a stroke and will be out for about a month. The fill in priests are the worst of the worst. One a charismatic, the other a communist (no lie!!)
So, it's back to FSSP and we will probably make that permanent. God works in mysterious ways and I think He is kicking our butts big time.
I swear the NO Mass has spiritually hurt us in ways we may never understand! Vir - I tried to accept the NO over the past 10 years but it is boring, musically bankrupt, has horrible translations, and is just plain ugly.
I'm done --------- and I thank you for listening. You're a understanding friend!
Not a problem at all Adrienne. Feel free to vent any time you want!
Gotta love that Vatican II, If only we had a TLM full time here in Los Angeles....
Joe,
Hang tight -- Mahoney only has a a couple of years until mandatory retirement. Just hope the Holy Father accepts it immediately and names a replacement the next day!
