...And Just How Many "Catholics" Agree With Them?
Probably the same ones who voted for the Obamessiah
If you really want to know what's going on in the minds of "Progressive Catholics", just take a gander at what the Episcopalians are up to. Here's a couple of examples;Religious people a hindrance to gay rights
As the first openly homosexual bishop in a mainline Christian denomination, the Right Reverend Vicki Gene Robinson said that he wants to assure fellow male homosexuals, and lesbians, that they are not "abominations," despite the persecution they may have experienced at the hands of religious people. And yes, this alleged guy's first name is Vicki. And someone's fibbing to ol' Cavey. Bishopette Vicki says one thing, but God says another:
"Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind, because it is an abomination." Then there's this gem;
Abortion is a blessing and abortionists are doing holy work, says Anglican priest
The new Dean of the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Massacusetts, has given a sermon describing abortions as a "blessing" for the women who undergo them. The Rev Katherine Hancock Ragsdale also thinks that the people who run abortion clinics are "heroes" and even "saints".
Ms Ragsdale, speaking in Birmingham, Alabama, said that "when a woman becomes pregnant within a loving, supportive, respectful relationship; has every option open to her; decides she does not wish to bear a child; and has access to a safe, affordable abortion - there is not a tragedy in sight - only blessing." That sounds an awful lot like what Margaret Sanger said;
'most merciful thing a large family can do to one of its infant members is to kill it.' Think about this the next time you see an Obama '08 bumper sticker in the parish parking lot.

wikipedia gives the Bishop's name as V.Gene Robinson.
If my first name was Vicki - I'd keep it secret too.
It really makes me want to cry. These people are so easily led by the devil, when Jesus is right there pointing the right direction.
Vicki needs to quit thinking with his little head, and start using his big head, as do all active homosexuals. Just because I'm straight doesn't mean I'm immune to sexual temptation, but I fight it and so can they. Of course we cannot conquer Satan all by ourselves, and that's why we have the True Presence.
St. Michael the Archangel...
This is really icky stuff.
I really fear for those people's souls.
I met a woman once who had an abortion, although I didn't know when I first met her. She had a strange demeanor, much like a combat vet that has seen too much combat {as if there were not enough combat]. In short, she had a broken spirit. Even if I weren't a Christian and know by faith and scripture that abortion is just plain murder, I would still be against abortion, having seen what it did to one woman who had one.
We have started to hold prayer services in the parking lot before and after mass for those with Obama stickers.
