Give to Ceasar what is Ceasar's, NOW!
The Oscama Administration wants it all, and right this minute.
What I wouldn't give to own even one voting share of stock in General Motors today. Barack Obama would be in my litigical crosshairs for voilation of the constitution and abuse of his office. Please some lifelong GM employee take them court over this crap. IT IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL!
I guess we just don't friggin' care anymore as long as we get out 3 squares, and can hold on to our home. Where is the outrage? Can the unions really be behind this? I mean having government on your side against evil management is one thing, but now government is evil management. What are you going to do when they tell you that all of you will have to take big cuts in wages, benefits, and available positions. It will happen because if anything sales will go down big time now. If I were considering purchasing a vehicle do I want one that is backed by the US Government....HELL NO! The government has not been held accountable for that last 60 years, and who will you complain to, governments own consumer affairs. HAHAHAHA!!
What a bunch of dolts we have become, Mr. Wagoner just got a get out of jail free card at the cost of the GM company, shareholders, brand, and employees. Thank you Obama!
So far we have financial institutions and automotive manufacturers, next on the horizon will be gas and oil companies, then electric companies, hospitals and airlines. Just wait until what you see coming out of the G20 summit!
Sooner or later they will come for your industry too, and then you can hand it over and play nice so you get your "FAIR" allotment of provisions, while Obama chants, "Veni, Vidi, Vici!"
This guy is playing for keeps!

Vir,
TIAA-Cref has stock in GM in some of my accounts. If you can find the lawyer, I'll sign the papers.
Which, by the way, is soon going to be worth more than the sum of our entire economy with what he is doing.
PS Will he take over the gas & oil companies because of their profits, or will he tax them to death 1st to justify the take over?
Can you imagine Bush or Reagan taking over the NY Times, Boston Globe, & Washington Post? The precedent has been set.
Oh, yes, union wages will reach the chopping block, but the UAW can rest assured that theirs is the last place in line, over at GM.
I've occasionally imagined myself selling cars. The only company I could see myself working for, though, is Ford. None of the foreign companies are going to have workforces in 20 years, and GM & Chrysler are government whores.
