Bishops Welcome Obama’s Order Banning Torture
But nothing about torturing in utero children
WASHINGTON--An executive order banning torture signed by President Barack Obama was welcomed by Bishop Howard J. Hubbard of Albany, Chairman of the Committee on International Justice and Peace of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).
Do the bishops realize the President is a Harvard-educated lawyer? I’ll bet he is capable of understanding two related points within the same paragraph, whether spoken or written. Did Bishop Hubbard use his anti-torture message to BHO as an opportunity to remind him that tearing the arms and legs of tiny babies to facilitate the extraction of their tiny bodies from the wombs of their mothers was, in fact, TORTURE? No, of course not!
Oh yeah, I know Cardinal George of Chicago, the president of the USCCB (one-twelfth of which we know are successors of Judas Iscariot) already sent BHO a letter trying to dissuade the Pres from his pro-abortion mentality. Big deal. What’s he going to do to put some teeth in that? Not much considering 1) the great number of supposed Catholics who voted for the most anti-life President in the history of the nation, and 2) that the bishops surrendered what little moral authority they had when they protected the mostly homosexual predator-priests.

If the saving of one life is accomplished by a jihaadist getting the dog snot beaten out of him with a ball peen hammer... pass me the toolbelt.
Here we go again waiting to find something we can praise Obama about so we don't seem disagreeable.
This is like praising a rapist because he did not steal jewels from a store!
What these weenies don't realize is that Obama has made it quite clear that he doesn't give a rat's ass what they say - sort of like the average Catholic, doncha know!
Excommunicate them and you will start to rebuild the Catholic Church. There is no other way and we need to start with a number of bishops and priests.
