In public, though, Obama has spoken carefully and broadly about the D.C. handgun ban. Asked about the Supreme Court case Wednesday, Obama said he would not speculate on the coming decision. He said he supports the Second Amendment, but that local governments should have the right to provide “common sense gun laws” to keep firearms out of the wrong hands.
In other instances, Obama refused to articulate a position when asked whether he thought the D.C. ban was constitutional.

Well if one is going to be wishy-washy don't do it half-assed. ;-)
Obama's like that on EVERY question, this comes as no suprise.
Obama is the consumate politiko. The literal content of what is says is zero. Look at his votong record… what does it mean to vote “present”?
Since he voted AGAINST an Illinois law allowing possession (in-home only) for self-defense purposes, you know where he actually stands.
Since it looks to me like the obamanation will be our next chief executive, I'm spending my discretionary income of fire arms and ammo.
As I live in a state that doesn't require registration, when the socialists who hate religion and guns make their grab, I'll still be armed!
