Do yourself a huge favor... go to this posting; "The Narrow Door" by Fr John Speekman from Australia. The last two paragraphs hit dead-on with laser precision the problem with today's "New & Improved" Catholic Church.
And I don't think Fr. Speekman even realizes just how brilliantly he illustrates "The Silent Martyrdom" many priests are going through.

Let's see, Archbishop Neinstedt gets attacked for upholding the Church's teachings on homosexuality. Now, Fr. Speekman calls sin sin with the same results. Put him up for the next Archbishop of DBQ, PLEASE!!!!!
Thanks for sharing that link. Our priest says things that shake me up, but it makes me wonder WHY I'm shaken up. After thinking/praying on it, I realize he's right and I need to change. After all, isn't that what a shephard is supposed to do? Guide us in the right path?
