Daddy, Tell Me The Fairy Tale About How islam Is a Religion Of Peace
Once upon a time, there was a terrorist baby-rapist named mohammed...
Remember this headline next time someone refers to islam as a "Religion of Peace";

The award of a knighthood to the author Salman Rushdie justifies suicide attacks, a Pakistani government minister said today.
"This is an occasion for the 1.5 billion Muslims to look at the seriousness of this decision," Mohammed Ijaz ul-Haq, religious affairs minister, told the Pakistani parliament in Islamabad. "The west is accusing Muslims of extremism and terrorism. If someone exploded a bomb on his body he would be right to do so unless the British government apologises and withdraws the 'sir' title."
After his comments were reported on local news stations, Mr ul-Haq told MPs that his aim had been to look into the root causes of terrorism. The comments follow other condemnation of the award for Rushdie, whose novel The Satanic Verses provoked worldwide protests over allegations that it insulted Islam.
He received the knighthood for services to literature in the Queen's birthday honours list published on Saturday. Earlier today Pakistani MPs demanded Britain withdraw Rushdie's knighthood. A government-backed resolution condemning the author's knighthood was passed unanimously by the lower house of the Pakistani parliament amid angry protests across the country.
MPs said the honour was an insult to the religious sentiments of Muslims. In the eastern city of Multan, hardline Muslim students burned effigies of the Queen and Rushdie, chanting "Kill him! Kill him!"
Religion of Peace, my ass. Gutter religion is more like it.

Hold that thought Cavey, they're bestowing that title on that atheist piece of crap?! Who wouldn't they knight?
Blair has consistently chosen the road to Munich in his dealings with Islam.
As current events in Gaza and the West Bank illustrate, attempts to come to terms with "the religion of peace" are impossible.
I wonder how long it will take to discover that Fatah on its own is no more likely to deliver peace and security to Israel than any of the other terrorist gangs that threaten it and the West.
The World is in flames from Rabat to Jakarta. The reaction to the K for Rushdie is a symptom of the threat facing this country. Despite this the British government continues to see Pakistan and Saudi Arabia as allies in the War on Terror.
Isn't it time to wake up.

"The west is accusing Muslims of extremism and terrorism."
Well, Yeah! What do they consider a call to "strap a bomb" to your body if Brit's don't apologise for giving an award?
And their idea of extremism and terrorism would be---???
I've always called it the religion of "pieces."
This was a paragraph in today's (June 20, 2007) New York Post:
"Record" bias vs. Muslims
"Last year was the worst ever for anti-Muslim bias in the United States, according to a report released yesterday by The Council on American Islamic Relations.
Complaints of anti-Muslim civil-rights abuses jumped 25 percent in 2006, according to the study.
"In the post-9/11 era, the targeting of Muslim Americans is another facet of the civil-rights struggle," said Maryam Sayar Akbar, a director of the council."
Samuel Goldsmith
Although they didn't go into detail please ask yourself what "bias" are they talking about? They DO complain about "suspicious glances" and many have claimed that THEY'VE been the true victims of the 9/11 attacks.
Please don't believe them when they claim to "respect" Jesus. Muzzies see him only as a "prophet", not as GOD, reigning with the Father and Holy Spirit. Jesus was PERFECT LOVE.
Their own "prophet", Muhammed was a master of HATE and Islam is a culture of death and destruction.
Semper Fidelis and Dominus Vobiscum!
I have no time for Rushdie, but the reaction from the Usual Suspects just makes me think (in a stereotypically Brit way):
"Sorry, old chap, but we'll knight who we damn well please! God save the Queen!"
