The Secular World Can't Seem To Figure It Out
A blind man could see why
Helmet Tip to Syrian Catholic over at Ecce Agnus Dei
NBC News just doesn't get it. How much would you like to bet if you asked these young Religious about their core Catholic beliefs, they'd be more in line with Pre-Vatican II, then the Gaia-worshipping crap that's so infiltrated America's convents.

Praise God for all these young women!! This is so heartening!
You're right, Vir. Its the orders that are keeping faithful to the traditional spirituality who are getting new sisters.
We all know orthodoxy begets vocations, well, those of us who actually practice the Faith. Being a Christendom alumna, I know several alumni who have entered religious life and they're all so young and vibrant and on fire for Christ. Truly an inspiration.
Praise God indeed! And yes, ORTHODOXY begets vocations!
Thanks for bringing this to my attention Mr. Marine sir.

And notice how the old religious orders that retained the habit, or the new orders that never abandoned it, are the ones that have and continue to get vocations. Somehow the post-Vatican 2 modernists forgot the Lord's admonition to be in the world but not of the world.
Here's another thing that will beget more vocations: if priests would beat back the assault of the lay busybodies who are now running our parishes and dismantling our churches and our liturgy. If priests would take back the turf that is rightfully theirs and stop being ashamed of the dignity that is theirs by virtue of their priesthood, the (self-inflicted) priest shortage would end pretty quickly. How much you wanna bet??
