Hypocrite Of The Week Award
Al "Muzzle Awareness" Gore
Former Vice President Al Gore used religious references Thursday night in New York City in an attempt to convince a "town hall" meeting that human-caused catastrophic climate change is real. Gore's "Town Hall on the Climate Crisis" was timed to coincide with the release of his "global warming" disaster film, "An Inconvenient Truth".
He also announced that he supports a "petroleum tax," and he suggested a boycott of the oil giant Exxon-Mobil for its allegedly poor environmental record.
Gore departed the event with his wife Tipper in a chauffeur-driven black Lincoln Town Car.

You know, I didn't realize that Gore had a new movie about global warming coming out until this week, but because it was so cold for the last three weeks (we're talking lows overnight in the low to mid 40's in Virginia, for cryin' out loud!), I knew he had to be flappin' his gums about it somewhere.
Any time it's colder than usual, you can be sure that Al Gore is telling us that the planet, as James Tarranto put it, is melting.
"Chicken Little" Gore. And to think that nutcase was almost our President.
Thirty some-odd years ago, the concern was global cooling. And those who warn about global warming never seem to remember that - before the industrial revolution - the world was so warm that vineyards sprung up as far north as England...
It comes as no surprise to me that Gore drove off in a nice car. Those who caution about pollution and other environmental causes don't actually want to have to change their lifestyles. They want the rest of us to give up our cars, ride buses, and use candles as a light source. They can't have such inconveniences ruining their reputation, after all.
