Today's lesson, the Ave Maria

First off... the Hail Mary in 150 languages. From Achinese (spoken in Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia) to Zurituutsch (Spoken in the canton of Z├╝rich, northern Switzerland).

et benedictus fructus ventris tui Iesus.

Cardinal Mahony has just said that Latin was only used for a small part of Church history; what he meant was a small part of his ministry - or perhaps he did not mean the Catholic Church.
