Looks like Rome will finally slam the door to sodomites in the seminary. I wonder how they will react at the "Pink Palace” (St. Mary’s Seminary in Baltimore), “Notre Flame” (Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans), and “Theological Closet” (Theological College at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC)?
Interesting thought... over two decades of JP2, and precious little was actually done about the pollution of the priesthood. And just a few short months of Pope Benedict, and things are actually happening. Looks like all Catholicism needed was a good shot of vitamin B-16.

I hope the Pope and the Church holds the line against homosexual priests. I thought, however, that the Vatican is going to permit homosexuals who remain celibate to become priests.
God help us.
I was also amazed with how quickly B16 has been rocking the boat and tossing the useless weight overboard. I remember my religion professor hear hoping he was going to be some old "interim Pope" who would keep the seat warm for a year or two.
Instead he has been taking out the trash. I remember only a few weeks after we got our new Pope a liberal Jesuit editor of a Catholic magazine (who was pro-choice I belive) got sacked. Now the new Pope is going to start "prunning" Catholic colleges that are more likely to turn people away from the church, about time!
You see this willingness to stand tall for the faith spreading to rank and file Catholics who are sick of lukewarm leaders and cultural bigots.
By the way Caveman, thanks for the kind words,link, and reading my blog. I have been meaning to do the same for you, I will get to it soon!
