New Oba-Tax on Amputee Vets
Barack Obama and the Democrats in the Senate have ensured that disabled vets have one less reason to feel pride in a less-than-grateful nation this upcoming 4th of July.
The Senate recently voted in favor of a new tax on prosthetic limbs and other needed medical equipment.
The Oba-Care bill has a new tax on prosthetic limbs, pacemakers, and wheelchairs. This tax will supposedly pump $20 billion into the Obama Health Care scheme, yet there are no exemptions for the nation's military veterans.
More to the point, Democrats specifically refused to have any exemptions at all for disabled vets.

So much for ObamaCare!
I wrote to Sen. Claire McCaskill regarding this atrocity and am awaiting her reply. I can't believe the terrible disregard for the lives and well being of those who have sacrificed so much by our legislators. Especially on this 4th of July weekend.
Why would we tax ANY medical benefit? I thought the idea was to lower costs, not raise them.
As usual, the democrats are talking out both sides of their mouths, or perhaps an orifice a bit lower than that.
And the five who didn't vote for this--they forgot their marching orders.
