C'mon, don't tell us that this poet was the one Obama chose for his inauguration. Reminds me of when JFK had Robert Frost read verse at his inauguration in '61. It is really great to find out that poetry is alive and well. Two poets of great stature!

Omigosh...I was laughing so hard, I was crying! Thanks for giving me a laugh with my early morning coffee!

By the way, I'm happy to admit I had no idea who this David guy was nor the song. (There was a day, long ago, when I would have probably been jamming on the dance floor to it.) I checked out the video (that starred the crass Akon, no less) and shook my head. Hopefully, all those extras in the video will grow up and realize there really is more to life than glitz and pool parties.

Oh, and you really emoted well on the "damn's"...

;-)

Okay. Just finished writing a post about musical genius and talent. Linked you and featured your video and then contrasted it with what to me is REAL music. Ha!

Also featured is a video of Stefani Germanotta before she became Lady Gaga. The girl can sing. Seriously.

Hilarious!!!

VSC~ After watching your video did a "search" for the original "artist", David Guetta and discovered that he's a 42 year old man from France! Plus, it took 7 people to "compose" this "hit"!?!

No accounting for taste, is there?
