Stupak Attacks The Holy Father...
And the Church, of course

"The Pope and the Catholic faith does not control Catholic legislators. We must vote reflective of our districts and our beliefs..." Stupak's right. Inasmuch as neither "control" how any given legislator votes.
But if Stupak so desires to identify himself religiously as a Catholic, then best re-examine his commitment and fidelity to his Catholic Faith. As of this moment in time, he fails miserably.
I also find it interesting that such a devout Catholic as Stupak would have such words for both The Holy Father and The Church simply because it was implied that he is placing his trust in the most pro-abortion President ever.
Interesting indeed.

Personally opposed to abortion and politically enthusiastic in promoting it ... the position of stupac and that tradition of forked tongue impersonators of Catholicism.
Had I only known of that line when I was back in my college era chasing women ... "Hey baby I'm personally opposed to using you as a sex toy, but political ramifications are such that it is the only free choice."
Wow, just imagine how famous I could have become as the world's greatest woman chaser!
Of course the Stupakoids aren't so much after women as sex toys but unborn babies as sacrificial meals.
Pro-Life Democrat, if by pro life you mean their own political one.
I think the whole Stupak/Nelson "Prolife" Democrat thing was a setup. They were Demonrats first and foremost. The Demonrat party Uber alles!
Another example of the "spirit" of Vatican II in action.
This Stupak thing was nothing but show all along. In Stupak's own words from an audio clip I heard on the radio on Monday he was never going to vot against the healthcare bill regardless of the abortion language.
Stupak is complicit in Obama's attack on the Catholic Church. Divide and conquer.
Stupak sounds like he is channeling the Kennedy clan now.
