Satan Alive & Well In The Vatican?
Yes, according to the chief exorcist
Here's some of the article from The Times (of London);Chief exorcist Father Gabriele Amorth says Devil is in the Vatican
Sex abuse scandals in the Roman Catholic Church are proof that that "the Devil is at work inside the Vatican", according to the Holy See's chief exorcist.
Father Gabriele Amorth, 85, who has been the Vatican's chief exorcist for 25 years and says he has dealt with 70,000 cases of demonic possession, said that the consequences of satanic infiltration included power struggles at the Vatican as well as "cardinals who do not believe in Jesus, and bishops who are linked to the Demon".
He added: "When one speaks of 'the smoke of Satan' [a phrase coined by Pope Paul VI in 1972] in the holy rooms, it is all true – including these latest stories of violence and paedophilia."

Well, the tares will grow along with the wheat, and the birds will poo in the mustard bush right up until the end of the age. The phrase "Judas Priest" wasn't just coined for a rock band.
As a fortunate survivor of the Episcopal Church, I guess I'm just not capable of being surprised by clergy who are working for the Other Side. I'm just happy to know some really good ones.
"The floor of hell is paved with the skulls of bishops." -- St. Athanasius (I think)
I know a couple in LA and Orange respectively
Wasn't that St. Ignatius of antioch? You know we should really look that up
Would make sense to believe that if Satan is going to attack Christians on a "lowly" (laity) level, why wouldn't he go after the more prominent ones either. We all know that the closer we get to Christ, the more we see Satan's attacks.
I know a few priests that I would consider to be in bed with the devil, but I also know some damn good priests that would shoot him in the ass if he ever came around, ya know?
Makes perfect sense to me.
