From the Herald Tribune;Visiting the Central Intelligence Agency to swear in Leon Panetta as the agency's 19th director, Vice President Joseph Biden Jr. said Thursday that the Bush administration's detention and interrogation policies "gave Al Qaeda a powerful recruiting tool." Golly gee, can you imagine the powerful recruiting tool we gave the Japanese after the Doolittle Raid?

You said it, Marine. Like a dog, Biden returns to his vomit.
Not even two months in office and these idiots are looking like the Carter Administration on steroids. It'd be funny if the consequences of their stupidity weren't so potentially lethal.
I use the word, "potentially", because I'm trying to stay optimistic and think we might dodge the bullet of our own destruction.
The test will be if the new administration keeps us safe now and for the future. The seem to be unable to understand that the campaign is over and they won which means it is now time to lead and stop campaigning. The reason they don't is because they do not know what to do. One day it is the largest spending bill in history and the next day it is deficets are the enecmy of all time until the very next day they start talking about another huge expansion of funding for government healthcare and subsidies for everyone with political connection to a democrat.
Of course putting a political hack with no experience in intelligence like Panetta is also kind of crazy.
You guys are great! You're one of the first Catholic websites I turn to when I want to know what's going on. I especially want to mention that not only do I not object to strong language, your targets deserve stronger than what you print. Sorry you're in the hospital, I hope Mrs. Caveman is properly remorseful. Was it a rolling pin or a frying pan?
Grazie for showing the oxymoron of associating "Intelligence" with either Biden or Panetta.
Sadly, it is all too believable considering the source.
