Have I Mentioned I'm Backing This Guy For Prez?
Run Bobby, Run!!
Here's some of the article from Politico.com; (Emphasis mine)Bobby Jindal's big moment
He’s a star in political circles, mentioned by members of both parties as a future presidential candidate, but when Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal delivers the Republican response to President Barack Obama’s Message to Congress on Tuesday, most Americans will be seeing him for the first time.
It’s a prime opportunity for the 37-year-old state executive to introduce himself to the public and define himself as a leader of his party—and a potential contender for national office.
Jindal is a cultural as well as a fiscal conservative, and his traditional Catholic views—including an article he wrote in 1994 about an exorcism he witnessed—have drawn fire from some Democrats. But he also has a personal narrative that’s drawn comparisons to that of Barack Hussein Obama.
Piyush “Bobby” Jindal (he’s called himself and been known as Bobby since he was a young boy), the son of Punjabi Indian immigrants, converted from Hinduism to Catholicism before graduating from Brown with degrees in biology and public policy and then earning a master’s in political science from Oxford, where he was a Rhodes scholar.

My Cajun in-laws don't want him for president. They want to keep him longer so he can clean things up for the state.
I told them they need to learn to share!
I like this guy alot too. Can he beat Obama? Will the Republican party be ready for a drag down all out gutter fight with Obama? Will they allow Jindal to have this fight at all? Or will it be another McCain campaign with no balls and constantly taking it on the chin? Needless to say I have no confidence in the party to beat Obama.
What say ye?
After watching him last night, he needs a lot of work before prime time. Frankly he does better without a prompter. I also think he needs some better speech writers. Palin still generates more excitement.
