Why The Republicans Deserve To Lose This Election
And why America deserves an Obama Presidency
Welcome to The Dred Scott Decision, 2008.
But let me preface all this by saying there's a lot about John McCain's politics that I agree with. Some I don't. And while I'm at it, allow me to say that when it comes to military service, John McCain has suffered more for this country than all the members of my immediate family, combined. And that's 86 years total military service.
And with all that happy shit aside, I'll continue to drive the point home that John McCain still steadfastly refuses to unambiguously and unequivocally renounce his stance on Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Specifically from JohnMcCain.com;Where federal funds are used for stem cell research, Senator McCain believes clear lines should be drawn that reflect a refusal to sacrifice moral values and ethical principles for the sake of scientific progress, and that any such research should be subject to strict federal guidelines. In other words, it's open season on embryos that the government already has it's grubby hands on.
Here's some of the article from LifeSiteNews.com; (Emphasis mine)Oregon Court Orders Frozen Embryos Destroyed, Considered "Property Rights" Issue
PORTLAND, Oregon, October 10, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The Oregon Court of Appeals on Wednesday denied a father's appeal to keep his six frozen embryos alive, and ordered that the embryos be destroyed by thawing, as ordered by his ex-wife. The court also ruled that the embryos' fate fell under the issue of "property rights." And John McCain is the best the Republicans can give us? If McCain won't protect all Americans, then he doesn't deserve to be President of any of us.
The holocaust will continue, and all the while, we heap condemnation upon our own heads.
And now we all know how Dred Scott must have felt.

Dred Scott is right. And he didn't even say the 3/5ths of six embryos is equal to one future human being!
Wow! Human embryos are property? The more things change the more things stay the same.
Children have been property since Roe v. Wade.
