John McCain Is The Novus Ordo Of Republicanism
Weak message, weak leadership, weak backbone

You know things aren't going well when you get booed at your own campaign rally. Case in point from the Miami Herald; (Emphasis mine) McCain gets boos at GOP rally for defending Obama

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- John McCain on Friday moved to calm rising anger among his supporters at rival Barack Obama, calling him a decent man and at one point taking the microphone away from a woman who had called Obama an Arab.

Their anger apparently still at flash point, McCain's supporters then booed him for his conciliatory words about Obama.

Supporters at the Minnesota town hall meeting pressed McCain to get even tougher on Obama. But when one man said he was scared to raise his unborn child in a country that might be led by a President Obama, McCain disagreed.

"I have to tell you, he is a decent person and a person that you do not have to be scared of as president of the United States," McCain said to boos and groans from his supporters.
But hold on a second... if I don't have to be scared of an Obama Presidency, then why the hell is McCain approving the following ad (from the Boston Globe); "When convenient, he worked with terrorist Bill Ayers. When discovered, he lied. Obama. Blind ambition, bad judgment," the announcer says. "Congressional liberals fought for risky subprime loans. Congressional liberals fought against more regulation. Then, the housing market collapsed, costing you billions. In crisis, we need leadership, not bad judgment."So what is there in this McCain ad that isn't suppose to illicit a certain degree of fear in the voting public? But I have nothing to be scared of... right? Bullshit.

And for the moment, put Ayers aside --- how many of you knew that Calypso Louie Farrakhan called Obama "The Messiah"? Check this out;

Yeah, America's hungry for leadership and change, but we sure as hell could do better than a moldy loaf of bread or one with shards of broken glass baked in it. Good Lord... a Marxist and a RepubliCrat. Those are our choices? Pathetic.

As my South Carolina born and bred wife (who also is a member of Daughters of the Confederacy) said, "Where's Alan Keyes when we needs him?"

  1. Alan Keyes is so underrated - he is brilliant and his analysis of the issues spot-on. He smoked BO in their IL Senate debates but was written off as a joke by the media, and the people of IL bought it. Still makes me mad.

  2. His preacher said "God damm America"

    His friend bombed America

His running mate said "he is not up to it"

What on earth is going on. Has America lost its senses. Is poor old Joe the only only one who recognises what a loser you have on your hands.

It looks like the choice is between someone who wants to invade Russia and someone who wants to invade Pakistan.

McCain is totally hopeless. He is prepared to let someone else do his dirty work and then play the officer and gentleman.

  4. *sigh* I really worry for our country if those are our choices.

For MN Senate I support "electing" Sen. Dean Barkley. You see he was appointed by then Gov. Jesse Ventura to replace for Paul Wellstone for that brief post-election session. Our other choices are Sen. Norm Coleman and Al Franken. A republicrat and a loose cannon.

  5. Has the Obama camp come out with McCain's endorsement yet? As soon as I heard about this, I cringed. And any chance for a McCain presidency has been swallowed up in the bottomless pit of WTF "fairness". If he doesn't come out swinging in the next debate (which he won't), he might as well go back to Arizona.

  6. after FOCA - mandatory abortion?

St. Padre Pio, Humanae Vitae, and Mandatory Abortion

St. Pio defended the controversial encyclical, praising its “lofty teachings” and “eternal truths.”

An aspect of the document often overlooked today is its grim warning that governments might “impose” contraceptive methods on citizens.

In the light of the Humanae Vitae’s other accurate predictions,
are mandatory birth control and abortion on the horizon for America?

  7. Hmm, another reason to not vote for McCain. I can't even deal with these candidates - when is voting EVER going to become a simple choice between a good candidate and a bad candidate???

  8. "Where's Alan Keyes when we needs him?"

Good question!!! Once again, your wife is showing how smart she is. (But then she married you, didn't she?)

The answer: The Republican Party chewed him up & spit him out.

  9. McCain may have been a warrior at some point in his life, but am fear the vietcong beat it out of him. He calls himself a "maverick" because for crossing the aisle and passing liberal legislation with Ted Kennedy and company. Maverick, hell; traitir is more like it. And now this "make nice" with B. Hussein Obama less than 30 days from the election -- Obama doesn't have to run, McCain has basically conceded.

Whoa, hey there, wait a minute. Alan Keyes is to blame for Obama being elected to the Senate in the first place. Yeah, sure, the Illinois GOP deserves the bulk of the blame, but Alan Keyes didn't have to go along with their obvious plan to lay down and die for the Son of God back in the '04 election.
