For those who aren't aware, here's some of the background on the individual the good Father listed as his favorite author -

~ Küng rejected the dogma of Papal infallibility.
~ Küng was stripped of his licence to teach as a Catholic theologian.
~ Küng endorsed the heresy of Mohammedanism in the following quote;
"The same church must, in my opinion, also respect that the one whose name is absent from the same declaration out of embarrassment, although he and he alone led Muslims to pray to this one God, so that once again through him, Muhammad, the prophet, this God 'has spoken to mankind."Ummm.... nooooooo. Mohammed is a FALSE-prophet. And while I'm at it, since when to Catholic priests get their doctorates from institutions that deny the Real Presence, most of the other Sacraments, Papal supremacy, etc?
