You can hear Berzerkeley City Council members and Mayor Tom Bates inveighing that “Marines are the President’s own gangsters… they are trained killers.” Another councilmember by phone then says that the Marines are known for “death and destruction…and maiming” and they give America “horrible karma.” Do these dorks know just how much they've done to help Marine Corps recruiting? Young men throughout this country who hear this... young men who are fed-up with the sissification of America... they're now thinking to themselves "if the Marine Corps can piss off those Berekeley wimps THAT BAD, then Marines Corps is the place for me!"
And if any of those young men happen to be reading this -- hurry to your nearest Marine Corps Recruiting Office! Be the first kid on your block to get a confirmed kill!

This reminds me of the crap I heard directed at my dad in the 70s. Any chance we could recommission the USS Missouri and turn Berkeley into a parking lot?

If it weren't for the fact it would be a lie, and therefor a sin, i would print up sa nice letter head and envelope from IRR Inc. and inform them that we no longer have plans to locate facilities in their city, and will be informing all supplier that we will not purchase from companies based in Berkely.
Of course, if some real companies did that, it might be interesting.
