Does it show that I'm reallly getting tired of them?
WARNING! Harsh language alert!
Diogenes over at CatholicCulture.org has smacked it outta the park. Not that I'm exactly a big fan of Rush Limbaugh, but this "hate speech" bullshit is getting way out of hand. Enough already.
Liberal activists in the US loathe conservative talk-radio shows. OK, you already knew that. Liberals would like to use the power of the Federal Communications Commission to tighten down the lid on conservative talk-show hosts. OK, you already knew that. Liberal religious groups have asked the FCC to investigate "hate speech" on the radio waves. Maybe you didn't know that, but I bet you aren't surprised.
The petition explicitly mentions Rush Limbaugh, and alludes to other radio hosts who are accused of hostility toward immigrants. For now, the campaign does not focus on radio hosts who oppose abortion or homosexual marriage or, perhaps, the ordination of women. But that will come.

ReplyDeleteDissolving the USCCB...A brilliant Idea that needs to be done now
the Islamic Society of North America
ReplyDeleteAnd after the totalitarian, Democratic feds shut down conservative religion, then American Islam will start filling in the gaps and causing trouble. When those same idiot feds try to shut them down, the green "middle finger" will be raised corporately and things will start to explode (literally). Thanks, feds.
The USCCB has no balls. I'm sure most of you can guess why.
Sharia will become the highest . . . I mean . . . ONLY . . . law of the land.
I suspect that whoever the USCCB Bureaucra-weenie is behind this is doing it in part to go after EWTN as well.
ReplyDeleteOnly way to kill the USCCB is to completely cut off the money supply. Everyone needs to do their part. Seems like we need some kind of leadership because I know of few that actually donate that want the USCCB. This of course means one would need to stop giving in total to the local level. I wonder if you can give focused gifts that can only be used for one purpose and not in any way going to the bishops.
ReplyDeleteA Catholic news site is running a report that initially says the USCCB did not sign on, but a few paragraphs down it appears that it did indeed sign on. I may have to have my empty beer bottle analyzed for any unusual additives.
