I'm sure many of you have seen the film A Man for all Seasons. I well remember the scene where after being convicted of treason on the perjured testimony of Richard Rich, St. Thomas was informed that Rich has been promoted to Attorney General for Wales as a reward. The response of St. Thomas is timeless;
Why Richard, it profits a man nothing to give his soul for the whole world... but for Wales?Indeed. Now we see exactly how Barack Obama was rewarded his own personal Judas. Not an ambassadorship to The Court of St. James... not to the Republic of Italy... certainly not to The Holy See (as he had his sights set on all the while). What was the payback Kmiec got for his thirty pieces?

And speaking of bitched out, this other quote from the film applies, as well; They'll think that somewhere along your pedigree a bitch got over the wall!Even though this was directed at the Duke of Norfolk, this easily applies to Kmiec.



And am I the only one who finds ironically hilarious that Kmiec was also a St. Thomas More Professor at The Law School of Catholic University?
