(Why was it that poor folk could produce beautiful church buildings for all these centuries and we today in North America have dumbed down versions of 'community centers'?

I have been appointed to the building committee in my Parish, St Catherine of Siena, Clarksville VA, just over the border.
ReplyDeleteI am not the only orthodox (small o)on the committee, but I am struck by the lack of foundation in my fellows. There is no Catholicity.
Where can I find some pictures of good Catholic Churches and dog ugly ones?
I live in NC too. And actually retired from the MC in Jacksonville.
I know all of these Churches except Shallotte.
